Too many results

If you retrieve too many results, you can:

  • narrow your search using many of the same techniques that you can use when searching for articles in databases, such as adding an additional keyword, or searching on an exact phrase; see Searching by topic: Narrowing a search.
  • limit your results using the left-hand menu to a specific type of source (books, journals, magazines, etc.), to a date range of your choosing, to scholarly materials, or to items appearing in OskiCat:

Too few results

If you retrieve too few relevant results, you can:

  • broaden your search using many of the same techniques that you can use when searching for articles in databases, such as adding synonyms with OR or truncating your search terms; see Searching by topic: Broadening a search.
