OskiCat (UC Berkeley)

OskiCat is the UC Berkeley library catalog. All library users can find course reserves and renew items in OskiCat. UC Berkeley faculty, students, staff, and other UC Berkeley library cardholders may request materials from NRLF in OskiCat.

Melvyl (all UC campuses)

Melvyl is a collaboration between the UC Libraries and the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC). Holdings from all ten UC campuses are included.

WorldCat (libraries worldwide)

Worldcat is a library catalog for materials owned by libraries worldwide. UC Berkeley faculty, staff, and students may request materials not owned by UC Berkeley through the Request option in UC-eLinks.

Getting material from NRLF (short)

The Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF) is an off-campus storage facility for some library collections. NRLF materials are available to request in OskiCat.

  • Borrow print materials from NRLF via the REQUEST button in OskiCat. 
  • Receive electronic or paper copies of book chapters or journal articles via the Request an electronic copy from NRLF link that appears in eligible titles in OskiCat.
