Global Networks.  Research on global networks, transnational affairs and practices, and their relation to wider theories of globalization

World Development. Examines solutions to poverty, unemployment, malnutrition, disease, lack of shelter, environmental degradation, debt, gender, ethnic discrimination, civil conflict, and lack of participation in economic and political life.

Review of International Political Economy. Leading international journal on the systematic exploration of international political economy from a plurality of perspectives.

Geforum. International, inter-disciplinary journal publishing research and commentary in human geography and related fields.

Antipode. Essays on geographical issues such as place, landscape, scale, uneven development, boundaries, borders and connections that further analytical and political goals of a broad-based left-wing geography.​

Journal of Development Studies.  Oldest journal in the field of development studies, publishing interdisciplinary articles on development relating economics, politics, public policy, and practice. 

Journal of Peasant Studies. Journal in the field of rural politics and development that promotes critical thinking about social structures, institutions, actors and processes of change in and in relation to the rural world.

Journal of Agrarian Change. Leading journal of agrarian political economy that investigates social relations and dynamics of production, property and power in agrarian formations and their processes of change, both historical and contemporary.

Review of African Political Economy.  Provides radical analyses of trends, issues and social processes in Africa, adopting a broadly materialist interpretation of change.

Oxford Development Studies.  Provides a forum for critical analysis of conventional theories and policy issues in all aspects of development, including economics, history, politics, anthropology, and sociology. 

Journal of International Development.  Research on development issues in economics, politics, international relations, sociology, anthropology, and development studies, focusing on transitional and underdeveloped areas. 

Third World Quarterly. Examines emerging issues affecting the developing world beyond strict “development studies,” providing analysis of grassroots efforts of development practitioners and planners across Africa, Asia, Latin American and the Middle East.

Kumarian Press. Publishes books on international development, globalization, peace and conflict, human rights, the environment, women and gender, NGOs, microfinance, health, and the interaction between the richer and poorer societies.

Overseas Development Institute. Think tank on international development and humanitarian issues, informing policy and practice leading to poverty reduction and alleviation of suffering in developing countries.

Zed Books. Publishes on politics, development, gender, the environment and economics, specializing in international and developing country issues.
