Device Lending

The Library has the following devices available for lending:

Laptops

The Engineering Library has 20 MacBook Air laptops available for checkout (10 run OSX and 10 run Windows). 

  • Loan period: 4-hours
  • Software:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Adobe Creative Suite
    • Java
    • Flash
    • RealPlayer
    • ​QuickTime
    • Silverlight

Cell phone / tablet chargers

The Engineering Library has 5 Android and 5 Apple Lightning USB wall chargers with cables. The chargers work with most current cell phone models and tablets. 

  • Loan period: 2-hours, no renewal
  • Students must present their Cal1 ID card 

The Moffitt Library has 10 Android and 10 Apple Lightning USB wall chargers with cables. See our FAQ for more information. 

Presentation Kits

The Engineering Library has 2 presentation kits available for checkout.

  • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal
  • Kits include:
    • wireless mouse
    • presentation remote with laser pointer
    • mini-display to VGA/HDMI/DVI adapter
    • HDMI to VGA adapter

Display Adapters

The Engineering Library has the following display adapters available for checkout.

  • 3 mini-display to HDMI 
    • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal
  • 2 mini-display to VGA 
    • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal

VGA cables

The Engineering Library has 4 VGA cables available for checkout.

  • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal
  • Cable length: six feet

Calculators

The Engineering Library has 2 scientific calculators available for checkout.

  • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal
  • Model: Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS

The Mathematics-Statistics Library has 2 scientific calculators available for checkout.

  • Loan period: 1-day, no renewal
