Public Health Library Reference Services

In Person Reference:

Visit the Public Health Library reference desk for help with your research, with accessing online or print materials, or any other questions regarding your work at UC Berkeley.
Our reference desk hours are Monday-Friday, 2pm - 4pm

The reference service hours of other libraries on campus are posted on the library web.

Individuals and groups are welcome to contact us to arrange a customized reference or instruction session.

Reference By Phone:

Call (510) 642-2511 during the hours listed above and ask to speak to the reference librarian.

Extensive or detailed questions may be best handled in person.

Reference By Email:

Email your reference question using this form; it will be forwarded to the Public Health Library (or another UCB Science Library, if appropriate).

Use this form to send an email to the reference staff at the Doe/Moffitt Libraries.

The answer to your question may be found at one of the following:

Ask a Librarian 24/7 Chat

You can type your question directly into this chat window to chat with a librarian. Your question may be answered by a reference librarian from Berkeley, from another UC campus, or another academic library elsewhere in the world.  We share information about our libraries to make sure you get good answers.

If the librarian can not answer you well enough, your question will be referred to a Berkeley librarian for follow-up.

Have fun chatting!
