Off-campus Access to Library Resources

Before you can access Library resources from off campus make sure you have configured your computer with proxy server settings.

After you make a one-time change in your web browser settings, the proxy server will ask you to log in with a CalNet ID or Library PIN when you click on the link to a licensed resource.

Welcome!

This guide assembles UC Berkeley Library resources available for the study of playscripts, acting, directing, costume design, scene design, lighting and sound design, theater history, and criticism. Select a tab above to begin exploring. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to email or phone and/or stop in the Library.

Please Note

UC Berkeley now has trial access to Drama Online (Bloomsbury), an online resource that brings together full-text playscripts (1,100+ playtexts from Methuen Drama, Faber and Faber, and Arden Shakespeare, as well as another 400 modern plays from specialist theatre publisher Nick Hern Books) and streaming video of a variety of performances. On-campus access ends March 24, 2017.
