Circulation Services Suspended as of Summer 2022

As of Summer 2022, the Anthropology Library will operate as a study hall only location.

Due to the Library's serious budget and staffing crisis, we are not able to offer the full suite of Library services in the Anthropology Library at this time. We will no longer offer any library checkout services.  The library will be open from 1-5, M-F, for study and collection browsing. The service desk will be staffed by a study hall monitor from the Anthropology Department. We will still have public computers for use at this location. The nearest circulation desk is at Environmental Design Library next door in Bauer Wurster Hall, which will continue to offer library services. Learn more about our online services and resources, and see our study hall hours on the Anthropology Library website.

Research Help

As a result of the departure of the Anthropology Librarian, the following people will be handling elements of the position on an interim basis:

Ann Glusker: Reference and research support; orientation sessions, tours or course instruction. Note: As always, you can also get help 24/7 via chat!)

Margaret Phillips: Collection development. Request that material be purchased via this form or a direct email to Margaret.

Susan Edwards: Anthropology Library staffing, questions/comments/concerns about hours and space.
