Searching

  • Go to Oskicat: http://oskicat.berkeley.edu
  • Select the Advanced Keyword Search option
  • In the Electronic Resources box, choose Online
  • Enter your keywords and submit your search

Keep in mind:

  • Searches for ebooks across disciplines
  • Searches for ebooks across publishers
  • Not a full text search - only searches title, subject headings, table of contents (if available)
  • Try Google Books with Oskicat

eBook collections

The Library buys collections of eBooks from major science publishers. Many of these publishers offer their own interfaces to search their collections.

  • only searching in one publisher's collection
