Research Help in the Mathematics Statistics Library: Home

This guide describes the options for getting library research help related to mathematics and statistics.

Research Questions & Consultations

Staff at the Mathematics Statistics Library circulation desk can help you with common questions anytime the library is open. The librarian is also available for in-depth questions about library research, literature reviews, citation management, open access publishing, scholarly communications, and writing in Overleaf. Please email Brian or use his Appointments page to schedule an online consultation.

Library Research Training

The librarian can meet with your class or research group online or in-person to provide training on mathematics databases, using the library, conducting literature reviews, managing citations, and getting started with LaTeX in Overleaf. As an alternative, he can also offer online exercises to give your students practice with using the library.

Schedule a training: Set up training for your class or research group by emailing Brian. Please provide at least one week notice.
