You can still access the UC Berkeley Library’s services and resources during the closure. Here’s how.

Research Help in the Mathematics Statistics Library: Home

This guide describes the options for getting library research help related to mathematics and statistics.

Remote Resources & Services

The Mathematics Statistics Library's research assistance has temporarily moved fully online due to the campus closure. The librarian is available to answer your questions via email, Zoom meeting, or Google Hangout. Please email Brian or use his Appointments page to schedule an online consultation.

Please consult COVID-19 Portal for UC Berkeley Library Users for the most updated information on the UC Berkeley Library's online resources and services during this closure.

Library Research Training

The librarian can also meet with your class or research group online or offer online exercises to provide training on mathematics databases, using the library, conducting literature reviews, managing citations, and getting started with LaTeX in Overleaf.

Schedule a training: Set up training for your class or research group by emailing Brian. Please provide at least one week notice.

Email Assistance

Use the Ask a Science Librarian form to email your library research questions to Brian anytime of day. Responses are normally provided within two business days.
