About the Makerspace in Moffitt Library

The Moffitt Library Makerspace is a collaborative, open and inviting space where all students, faculty, staff and the larger UC community are invited to learn, create and make together.

Moffitt library Makerspace partners with student clubs on campus to provide trainings and workshops open to the entire University campus. For upcoming workshops, see the calendar on the workshops page.

Hours and Location

The Moffitt Makerspace will resume in person operation on August 25th 2021. 

HOURS for August 25th-October 1st

1:00pm-4:45pm Monday-Thursday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

You can make an appointment here

Hours for the remainder of the semester will be posted before September 30th. 

How to find us

Please note, the Makerspace is now located in the Media Resources Center on the first floor of Moffitt. To get to the Makerspace take the stairs or the elevator to Moffitt Floor 1. When you exit the stairwell or elevator and face the purple wall, take a right. You will be facing the Media Resources Center. The Makerspace is located inside the Media Resources Center.
