UC Berkeley Library Makerspace: About

UC Berkeley Library Makerspace

About the UC Berkeley Library Makerspace

The UC Berkeley Library Makerspace is a collaborative, open, and inviting space where undergraduates are invited to create and make together. We provide tools, materials to get started with projects, trainings, and workshops for students.

We are a space for personal learning and are not able to support large scale projects. For more campus resources, check out the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, or Berkeley Art Studio.

Access

The Makerspace is open weekly for Drop-in Hours to work on a self-directed project or receive tools training. Students can access any tool after a consultation with Makerspace staff or Library fellows during Drop-in Hours. Pre-registration is not required!
