Microforms: How to find Microform Sets

Microform Sets

Microform sets can be found searching Oskicat / Melvyl catalogs by keyword, subject, title or author.

Some sets have each individual work within the set, cataloged by title/author and thus can be found by searching Oskicat / Melvyl by individual title/author.

However, most multi-reel/multi-fiche sets are not cataloged in such fine detail and thus, require using the print/online Guide to ascertain specifically what is in the set and which reel/fiche has the individual item/s needed.  The accompanying Guide's call number and location should be reflected in the long display of the catalog record.

Please consult the helpful News/Micro staff for assistance.
