You can still access the UC Berkeley Library’s services and resources during the closure. Here’s how.

New Public Health Books: New Books: May 2020

New Database!

I am happy to announce that the UC Berkeley Library has successfully negotiated a license for access to PsycTests, from the American Psychological Association (APA). PsycTests lists and provides access to psychological tests, measures, scales, and other assessments as well as descriptive and administrative information. Approximately 50% of the tests includes are available in full text. PsycTests helps researchers easily find scales and measures for their own use, and is an indispensable resource for researchers looking to conduct, create, or measure research in multiple fields of study.

New Journal!

I am happy to announce that the UC Berkeley Library has begun a subscription the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities, which "reports on the scholarly progress of work to understand, address, and ultimately eliminate health disparities based on race and ethnicity. Efforts to explore underlying causes of health disparities and to describe interventions that have been undertaken to address racial and ethnic health disparities are featured." In databases such as PubMed and Embase, UC-eLinks will be set up, so that clicking the icon should take you to the full text of articles in this journal. Several UC Berkeley authors have recent articles in this journal.
