Business Library Renovation starting in October 2024

The Business Library circulation desk and third floor (including computers and study space) closed for renovation on October 11, 2024. We will be renovating the Business Library third floor and plan to reopen during Spring 2025. The lower floor study space and rooms should be open during this time, though there may be construction noise. Access to the lower floor will be only via the courtyard entrance, as the interior stairs will be closed.

During the renovation we will not be accepting returned books and we will not provide library services including checking out books and power banks or public computers. We do not have a circulating print collection inside the library, but you can find business books at Doe Library. Our electronic resources and databases will continue to be available, and our librarians can meet with you by appointment. Find more details on our website and email us at haasref-library@berkeley.edu.

The lower (2nd) floor space is expected to remain open even when the Library is closed; you can check the current building hours on Haas Facilities' page.

The closest library location to check out and return library items and access public computers is the Environmental Design Library, just five minutes walk away at 210 Bauer Wurster Hall. Find current hours and details on their website.

Bloomberg terminals will be relocated to the lower level during this renovation. The Library does not manage these terminals; please direct questions to helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu

Reservable study rooms and cubicles in this library are managed by Haas and are for Haas use only. Rooms can be requested here. There are currently no reservable study rooms in the Business Library third floor so we don't expect the Haas study rooms to be affected by the renovation. Other campus libraries, including the Environmental Design Library, also have study space available for booking by the general UC Berkeley community, you can book a study space in another library here.
