Circulation Services Suspended as of July 1, 2022

As of July 1, 2022 the Business Library will operate as a study hall only location.

We will no longer staff the public service desk or offer any library checkout services. We no longer have public computers for use at this location. The nearest circulation desk is at Environmental Design Library next door in Bauer Wurster Hall, which will continue to offer library services. How do I?

Access computers and the internet?

There are no longer public access computers at this location. Please visit another open library location to use public computers. The nearest library to us is the Environmental Design Library in Bauer Wurster Hall. We will still have a few research computers available to users with a Calnet ID and password, on the upper level near the front desk. Bloomberg terminals are for Haas use only.

Return my Books?

We are not checking out items, but are still accepting book returns at the bookdrop outside the library, on the third floor entrance. 

 

Pick up books I have requested?

The nearest open library to Haas is the Environmental Design Library. You can pick up book requests and access circulation services there. Here's a map of all the campus libraries.

 

Book a Study Space?

Reservable study rooms and cubicles in this library are managed by Haas and are for Haas use only. Rooms can be requested here. Other campus libraries, including the Environmental Design Library, also have study space available for booking by the general UC Berkeley community, you can book a study space in another library here.

Print?

Currently there are no printers in the Library. Haas students can find information on finding printers at Haas, including in Chou Hall, here. If you wish to pay for printing, you can do so at one of our other library locations. The nearest location with printing services is the Environmental Design Library.

 

Find Lost and Found?

Lost and Found is at S545, the fifth floor of the Student Services building. Here's a map of Haas.

 

Report an issue in the Study Hall?

For general support questions, you can contact ems.haas.berkeley.edu. 

If you observe a security threat or other emergency situation, please call UCPD at (510) 642-3333.

 

Find course reserves?

Print reserves are no longer available and we have switched to an electronic course reserve model for this year, with books in UC BEARS or available as e-books. To place a book on course reserve, you can email ereserves@lists.berkeley.edu. If you are a student, your instructor will have access to the link for course reserves and will give that to you directly. If you are a Haas instructor you can learn more about getting the Library's help with course materials here.

 

Find the restroom?

There is a restroom on the lower floor inside the library. If you go down the stairs make a left away from the entrance doors and it will be on your left hand side.

Access the Bloomberg terminal?

This terminal is located on the upper floor of the Library and is managed by Haas, not the Library. The terminal is available whenever the space is open. You can see hours on the website. Haas graduate students, staff and faculty should have access to the terminal with their Calnet ID and can create an account once logged in on the terminal. Haas undergraduates and other UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff can inquire about obtaining access by emailing helpdesk@haas.berkeley.edu, though access is not guaranteed. No remote access.
