Add Course Readings to bCourses: Linking to Library Resources

The Library recommends linking to public domain, library-licensed, or open access online content rather than uploading copyrighted materials to your course site when possible.

If you wish to upload copyrighted materials, consult the Copyright in Instruction web page for best practices.

If you cannot find a particular resource, contact a librarian for assistance.  

To link to library-licensed content:

1. Locate the resource on UC Library Search 
2. Copy the permanent link for the resource
3. Use the Libproxifier to prepend the proxy prefix, which ensures off-campus access  
4. Add the proxified link to your bCourses site
