Alliance for Peacebuilding. Network of over 100 organizations working to resolve conflict and create sustainable peace in 153 countries.

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Network of research centers dedicated to peace through analysis & development of policy with government, business, & civil society.

Center for International Policy. Research and advocacy organization that promotes transparency and accountability in U.S. foreign policy and global relations. 

Global Center for the Responsibility to Protect. International NGO created to transform the responsibility to protect into a practical guide for action in the face of mass atrocities.

Human Security Report. Information and analyzes on global and regional trends in armed conflict and other forms of organized violence. From the Human Security Report Project.

International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect. Coalition bringing together NGOs from all regions of the world to strengthen normative consensus for RtoP.

International Crisis Group. Independent, non-profit organisation committed to preventing and resolving deadly conflict. See especially their Crisis Watch Database.

International Peace Institute. Independent, international not-for-profit think tank dedicated to promoting the prevention and settlement of conflicts between and within states by strengthening institutions.

International Peace Research Institute Oslo. Conducts research on peaceful relations between states, groups and people. 

Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).  International institute dedicated to research into conflict, armaments, arms control and disarmament.
