Can I get print books in Washington DC? 

You can't have books shipped from your UC Library, unfortunately. 

You do have access to academic and professional libraries in DC, though in most cases you will need to read or scan the books in-person, and will not have any check-out privileges:

• The Library of Congress (LOC) is open to the public, though you can only use their materials in-person (no check outs). Take a look their Getting Started Guide.
• You can access collections from many academic libraries in the DC area, including:
  • American University
  • Georgetown University
  • George Washington University (as students from ARL institutions: bring your UC ID)
• Don't forget to see if your Internship site has a library collection of their own!

Can I get books online?

Absolutely! Search your home UC library, limiting your results to eBooks or online resources. Check out the instructions below:
