Article Databases

Article databases contain searchable citations to articles from thousands of peer-reviewed journals and other sources. Often, though, they don't include the full text.

To access an article's full text, click the   or Get it at UCbutton.

The Bio 1B Library Assignment uses the database BIOSIS Previews, but the UC Berkeley Library subscribes to hundreds of others.

Different databases cover different subject areas and index different journals and other resources.
