The UC Berkeley Library Makerspace is a collaborative, open, and inviting space where undergraduates are invited to create and make together. We provide tools, materials to get started with projects, trainings, and workshops for students.
We are a space for personal learning and are not able to support large scale projects. For more campus resources, check out the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, or Berkeley Art Studio.
Workshops are available monthly for students to create a project together with guided instruction. Check the Workshops calendar for offerings and registration details.
Make an appointment to access Makerspace tools and supplies. Appointments are scheduled with Makerspace staff for 1-on-1 project support.
The Makerspace is located in Doe Library across from the Morrison Library. To get to the Makerspace, enter Doe at the North entrance and enter the doors located to the left of the welcome desk. The Makerspace is located on the right, in the center of the room in studios 190B-D.
