Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies: AAADS Community Archive

Created as part of Dr. Harvey Dong's AAADS21 course in Spring 2021. Student teams have been interviewing community members on a variety of topics related to Chinese American history. You are welcome to attend this event to hear from the student teams who will introduce their findings. In this catalog listing of 32 podcasts, students covered various topics related to race relations, anti-Asian hate, mental health during the pandemic, immigrant and refugee rights, justice for Japantown. They interviewed fellow students, community members, relatives and built community together during difficult and challenging times. Now that they successfully completed the class and the group podcasts, perhaps we can utilize their work for reference. These podcasts were created in Dr. Harvey Dong's ASAMST W20AC class with the support of Dr. Pablo Gonzalez and the Ethnic Studies Changemakers Program.
