A compilation of statistical tables on economic and social development and political development trends for Eastern Europe and the USSR. It comprises economic indicators and social indicators for 1945 to 1978 respecting Eastern Europe and historical data back to 1926 for the Soviet Union.
This site brings together data extracted from various published and unpublished sources in one place. Its principal focus is Russian economic and social history of the last three centuries (18th-21st).
Also includes reports and data sets from State Committee of the Russian Federation on Statistics and the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independed States. Coverage includes national and regional level socioeconomic indicators, statistical yearbooks and monthly analytical reports, annual statistical abstracts on national accounts, population, labor, public health, transportation, industrial output, and related socioeconomic measures.
