The digital library provides access to cultural heritage materials housed at the National Library, but also serves as an access portal to collections of other institutions.

The National Archive preserves and maintains documents relating to the political, economic, social and cultural life of Moldova from XV century to the beginning of the XXI century. Digitized inventories of many collections are available, but the collections themselves have not been digitized.
