This library guide was first created in 2018 in collaboration with Thomas Mangloña II, Betsy Rohney, K.L. Parker, and Carly Kajiwara, members of Oceania Asian Pacific American Student Development center, and Sine Hwang Jensen of the Ethnic Studies Library. This guide as well as collection development for Pacific Islander materials are now managed by the Native American Studies Librarian, Melissa Stoner, with support from Sine Hwang Jensen, Asian American and Comparative Ethnic Studies Librarian.
The Critical Pacific Islands Library Research Guide launched in September 2018. See a video created by Oceania Connects with a performance by poet Terisa Siagatonu, remarks by Dr. David Ga'oupu Matthew Palaita and Dr. Craig Santos Perez.
