2024 California Presidential General Election is November 5, 2024

Berkeley is in Alameda County, a Voter's Choice Act (VCA) County. 

Check the League of Women Voters' Vote411.org site for registration status, what's on your ballot,
and other voter information for all fifty states.

August 29, 2024 Check My Voter Status to confirm your mailing address and voting status.
September 17, 2024 National Voter Registration Day!!!
September 6, 2024 Official Voter Information Guide: Online Version Available
September 26 – October 15, 2024 Check your mailboxes!  The CA Secretary of State will mail the Voter Information Guide during this period.
October 7, 2024

Early Voting sites open!

Keep an eye out for your ballots and voter information in the mail. 
County elections officials begin mailing vote-by-mail ballots on or before this date.
October 8 – November 5, 2024

California Ballot Drop-off locations open. Find an Alameda county drop box near you.
October 21, 2024 Last day to register to vote for the CA Presidential General Election.
October 26, 2024

11-Day Vote Centers Open for the CA Presidential General Election.
NOTE: Alameda County Vote Locations are forthcoming.

November 5, 2024

Election Day – Polls shall be open throughout the state from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Sign up for the CA Secretary of State's Where's my Ballot service to track your ballot.
