2024 California Presidential Primary Election is March 5, 2024

February 5, 2024

Vote-by-mail voting opens!

Keep an eye out for your ballots and voter information in the mail. 
County elections officials begin mailing vote-by-mail ballots on or before this date.

February 6, 2024

California Ballot Drop-off locations open. UC Berkeley Ballot Drop Box is
between Sather Gate And Architects & Engineers Bldg Berkeley or find an Alameda county drop box near you.

February 20, 2024 Last day to register to vote for the CA Presidential Primary Election.
February 24, 2024

11-Day Vote Centers Open for the CA Presidential Primary Election.
NOTE: Alameda County Vote Locations  are forthcoming.

March 2, 2024

4-Day Vote Centers Open for the CA Presidential Primary Election.
NOTE: Alameda County Vote Locations  are forthcoming.

March 5, 2024

Election Day – Polls shall be open throughout the state from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Vote-by-mail ballots must be
post-marked on or before today and received by County Elections Office March 12, 2024.  To track your ballot, sign
up for the CA Secretary of State's Where's my Ballot service.
