In conjunction with this year’s On the Same Page work, the documentary Crip Camp, the Earth Sciences & Map Library is putting on a Maps and More pop-up exhibit of tactile maps. The Library’s collection of tactile maps includes Braille maps and atlases, raised relief maps, 3-D models, and more. Visitors are invited to interact with and handle the maps for a true hands-on experience!

Xanth King, an Accessible Formats Specialist in the Alt Media Center of the UC Berkeley Disabled Students’ Program, will give a short presentation at 12:15 PM about tactile maps and projects they are working on at the Alt Media Center.
