The Films

"Unchained Goddess" (1958)
The 4th film in the Bell Laboratory Science Series of television specials that aired between 1956-1964. Directed by Frank Capra, this film explores what weather is and is noted for expressing an early concern about anthropogenic climate change.

"The Inconstant Air" (1960)
One of a series of films produced by the National Academy of Sciences to complement and promote the research accomplished during the International Geophysical Year (IGY) in 1957-58. This film addresses weather monitoring, patterns, and prediction.
