Mexico - U.S. Border Maps
In collaboration with the Geography Department's Decolonial Border Geographies course (GEOG 167AC), the Earth Sciences & Map Library is putting on a Maps and More pop-up exhibit featuring maps of the Mexico - U.S. Border. The maps in this exhibit will help students and other visitors examine how the United States’ historical relationship with Mexico has shaped the production of its southern border.
Diana Negrín da Silva, Lecturer in the Departments of Geography and Ethnic Studies @
UC Berkeley, will present some brief remarks at 12:15 PM to provide some context for the maps.
