Marian E. Koshland Papers

Marian E. Koshland was an American immunologist. She served as President of the American Association of Immunologists and  as the chair of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at UC Berkeley. The bulk of the collection consists of academic papers, photos and negatives regarding research papers submitted to academic journals.

A. Starker Leopold Papers

Aldo Starker Leopold (1913-1983) was a wildlife biologist who made substantial contributions in the fields of ornithology, wildlife management and conservation, and public policy. His papers consist of correspondence; writings; a subject file of his professional activities; University of California, Berkeley files; personal and family material; some photographs; and a small number of audio recordings.

C. Hart Merriam Papers

C. Hart Merriam was a naturalist and founder of the U.S. Biological Survey (1885-1910). His papers include correspondence, letterpress copybooks, manuscripts, notes, clippings, pamphlets, printed matter, scrapbooks, notebooks, certificates and financial papers documenting this naturalist's long and varied career. The papers cover a wide range of topics including natural history, zoology, ornithology, geography, geographic distribution, botany and wildlife conservation.

Ynés Mexía Papers

Ynés Mexía  was a botanist, explorer, and lecturer. Here papers include letters to and from Mexía about family, personal matters, and plant collections; writings by Mexía and others pertaining to the Mexía botanical collections from Mexico, South America, and Alaska.
