Hardin Jones Papers

Hardin Jones was a professor of medical physics and physiology and assistant director of Donner Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley. Collection consists of letters written to Jones and copies of letters by him; manuscripts of speeches and papers; minutes of meetings of various University and Laboratory committees; reprints of papers written by him and in collaboration with colleagues; research notes; articles about Jones, etc., documenting his career at the University and his research in drug abuse, radiation, gas exchange, cardiovascular disease, etc.

Karl F. Meyer Papers

Karl Friedrich Meyer was a Professor of Bacteriology and Experimental Pathology. He became Director of the G.W. Hooper Foundation for Medical Research in 1924, and developed it into a center for study in world public health and epidemiology. His papers consist of correspondence; research and lecture notes; laboratory notebooks; files related to professional meetings and seminars; manuscripts of writings; correspondence with publishers. Also includes personal memorabilia and correspondence with family and friends.
